ODESSA -- The Odessa Lady Bronchos shocked many by rolling into district with a 2-0 record, but on Tuesday night, Permian put a stop to that perfect record.
Pitcher Elizabeth Hernandez shutdown the OHS bats, as the Lady Panthers went on to win 6-1. Permian improves to 2-1 in district play.
It was a tale of extra innings in the Tall City.
Midland and Lee entered their ninth inning of play, tied at two a piece. Midland's Val Sisneros changed that when her R-B-I pulled the Lady Dawgs ahead 3-2, to give them the win. MHS improves to 3-0 in district while Lee drops to 0-2.
