WEST TEXAS -- The Andrews Mustangs exploded in the first inning of their regional quarterfinals game against Lubbock Estacado. The Mustangs batted through the lineup without recording an out on their way to 12 runs. They put 5 more on the board in the second on their way to a 18-6 game one victory.

Alpine also got the results they wanted. They get two in the first and rolled from there as they beat Abernathy 12-2 in game one at Christensen Stadium.
