Quarterback Talor Nunez led the maroon team, and will be expected to do the same for the Rebels as a whole come next fall. Nunez will be throwing to a brand new receiving core, but will have plenty of experience in front of him on the line.
Lee's success depends on Nunez's progress, but also the mental stability of the team. Head coach James Morton said his team has been working on penalties all spring long, and he feels like they've made progress.
"We've continued to improve each day, and I think that's been a good thing for us," Morton said. "We've talked about the mental side of things and handling the five and 15 yard penalties. I feel better about that."
