MIDLAND -- It's no secret that the Tall City Classic is the biggest game of the year at Grande Communications Stadium. And this year, thousands of fans plan to pack the house for another great game.

"We're all really excited," said Lee Center Hunter Meyers. "You have to be in the locker room to know how to really describe it"

"This is a very important game for us," said Midland Offensive Lineman Charles Hunt. "It's obviously a big deal to our team, to Lee, to the whole town. And it's on the line. Our dignity and respect is on the line."

Both teams are coming off disappointing losses. For Lee, they fell to district leader Abilene 30-17 while the Bulldogs are looking to show some resiliancy after falling at Cooper 41-0.

"We took a tough loss against LD Bell earlier this year and we responded very well and came back and practiced really hard the next week," said Lee Linebacker Talmage Cockerell.

"We had a tough loss last week," Hunt said. "We have to put it behind us and come into this week strong and come into the game strong and show them what we got."

The game kicks off this Friday at 7:30pm from Grande Communications Stadium.
