MIDLAND -- The Lee Rebels passed their test against Amarillo Tascosa with flying colors on Friday night as they took care of those other Rebels with a 42-19 final.

That win counts as Lee's fifth district victory, and as them just one win away from clinching a playoff berth for the first time in three seasons.

Doing that will be no easy task, as the Rebels will have to make the short trip to Ratliff Stadium and face a Permian Panthers team that is also fighting for its playoff life.
