MIDLAND -- Midland Police are investigating a robbery that happened at a Tall City smoothie shop.

Police say that a man walked into the Smoothie King at 2200 West Wadley Avenue around 10:25 PM on November 5th and began to order a smoothie.

Officers say the man suddenly demanded that both female employees give him all the money in the store.

The employees -- who police say are both teenagers -- reportedly complied, and the robber ordered them to lie on the ground.

The robber then reportedly took off in an unknown direction with $600 cash.

Police say the robber is a heavy-set Hispanic man who's between the ages of 30 and 40.

Officers say the suspect is about 5'11" tall, and he has short dark hair in a buzz cut.

The suspect was reportedly wearing a navy blue hoodie that's similar to the Carhartt brand at the time of the robbery.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspect should call Midland Police at (432) 685-7108.
