6-Year-Old Child Airlifted To El Paso Hospital After Crash In Jeff Davis County

JEFF DAVIS COUNTY -- A young child is seriously injured in a rollover crash in Jeff Davis County.

    Texas Department of Public Safety troopers tell Big 2 that a vehicle rolled over along R.M. 1832 near the turnoff for the Buffalo Trail Scout Ranch around 11:30 AM Monday.

    A 6-year-old child was thrown from the vehicle in the crash,.

    The child was airlifted to an El Paso hospital with serious injuries

    Troopers also tell Big 2 that the driver of the vehicle suffered unknown injuries in the crash.

    D.P.S. troopers, Fort Stockton E.M.S. crews, Jeff Davis County firefighters and Jeff Davis County Sheriff's deputies responded to the accident.

    The cause of the crash remained unknown on Monday evening.
