If you like to turn holiday shopping into a last-minute marathon, Macy's is ready to cater to you.

The department store chain announced it will be open for non-stop shopping the last weekend before Christmas.

Stores will open at seven a-m on Friday December 21st and will stay open until seven a.m. on Sunday December 23rd.

The special sales for the marathon will end that morning, but Macy's says many stores will remain open until midnight.

The company has tried out extended shopping hours in past years, but this is the first time all 800 Macy's nationwide will participate.

Through all-hours convenience, Macy's hopes to attract a bigger chunk of America's holiday spending, which the National Retail Federation predicts to be in the 586-billion-dollar range this year.
