ODESSA -- An Odessa trailer home goes up in flames on New Year's Day.

The flames broke out at a trailer home in the 2000 block of West 28th Street around 11:20 AM on Tuesday.

Six Odessa Fire and Rescue units were able to put out the flames.

Three people were staying at the home, but no one was hurt in the blaze.

However, the trailer was completely destroyed, and the sides of some nearby homes were also destroyed.

The cause of the fire remained under investigation Tuesday evening.
