The soldier accused of leaking thousands of sensitive government documents could get end up with a reduced sentence.

Tuesday a judge ruled that Private First Class Bradley Manning was mistreated in military prison.

He went on to say Manning should get a break... if he's sentenced at all.

Manning is the intelligence analyst for the Army who is accused of handing over thousands of documents to WikiLeaks.

He told the court he was subjected to harsh treatment after his arrest.

Manning could face a life sentence if convicted on all counts.
