ODESSA -- Odessa Police have arrested a teen accused of shooting a man at an apartment complex.

Abner "Ace" Bustillos was arrested during a traffic stop in the 500 block of South Grant Street (U.S. 385) on January 3rd.

Bustillos, 19, allegedly gave police a fake date of birth during the traffic stop.

However, officers quickly figured out who he was and arrested him for outstanding warrants from the alleged shooting.

Bustillos is accused of shooting Mark Anthony Lujan twice during a melee in a parking lot at the Arbor Terrace Apartments (1101 Fitch Avenue) around 3:30 AM on December 1, 2012.

Lujan, 20, was rushed to Medical Center Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after the shooting.

Now Bustillos is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and failing to identify as a fugitive from justice.

As of Friday afternoon, Bustillos was being held in the Ector County Law Enforcement Center on $85,000 bond.
