The landmark decision -- which was made on January 22, 1973 -- gave women the right to have a legal abortion in the United States.

On Tuesday, the Diocese of San Angelo held a pro-life mass and a prayer march to the San Angelo Planned Parenthood office.

On January 23rd, Bishop Michael Pfeiffer will lead a similar  prayer march from St. Ann's School in Midland to the Midland Planned Parenthood Office.

The Midland march is expected to get underway at noon on January 23rd.
