Midland College Gets $100,000 Donation For Workplace Safety Courses

MIDLAND -- Midland College will soon be providing free workplace safety courses, thanks to the Texas Mutual Insurance Company.

    The Texas Mutual Insurance Company awarded a $100,000 grant to Midland College Tuesday, to fund the Risk Management Institute.

    The institute will provide free workplace safety courses for employers, employees and the general public.
 
    Midland College is one of only three community colleges in Texas that provides the free safety classes via funding from Texas Mutual Insurance Company.
