Big Spring's Nunez Signs With WT

BIG SPRING -- A big crowd gathered in the Big Spring High School entry way on Wednesday to witness Chris Nunez ink his commitment to play for West Texas A&M.

The future buffalo is coming off a fantastic season, where he was named both first team offensive line and first team defensive line in District 4-3A.

Nunez is headed to a West Texas A&M team that is coming off its best season in history. The Buffaloes made it all the way to the national semifinals in the NCAA Division II football.

It's not just winning which swayed Nunez to take his talents to Canyon. He said being with the team felt like being with family.
