MIDLAND -- It's almost Spring and that means Christmas will soon be in action.  Christmas in Action is gearing up for a new season of helping.

Home repairs include roofs, windows, siding, doors, storm doors, paint, sheetrock, weatherstripping, plumbing, wheelchair ramps, handicap bars, and miscellaneous carpentry. Most home repairs are done with volunteer labor during the month of April. Some affiliates provide emergency services on throughout the year.

How To Help-

Volunteers from all walks of life work in teams. Teams can be made up from church groups, civic groups, businesses, or any other interested organization. Each team has a House Captain selected by the volunteering group. Each House Captain chooses a project for its team from a list of qualified homes. There is a job for everyone.

Donations -

All charitable contributions come from individuals, churches, businesses, civic organizations, trusts, and foundations. Christmas in Action discourages affiliates from taking government or state funding, due to the desire by some agencies to impose limitations and controls on the program.

Donations may be sent to: Christmas in Action, P.O. Box 3744, Midland, TX 79702, or to your local affiliate.  Christmas in Action is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization and all donations are tax-deductible.

Memorial Gift -

Families are notified with a lovely card of your contribution in memory of their loved one.
