Burglars Who Stole $1,485 From Carlsbad, NM Taco Bell Remain At Large

CARLSBAD, NM -- Law enforcement in Eddy County, NM are looking for some people who broke into a Carlsbad, NM Taco Bell and robbed people at gunpoint.

    Carlsbad Police say that two men broke a window in the a Taco Bell at 1220 West Pierce Street around 1:30 AM on February 16th and entered the restaurant.

    Police say the men then threatened people in the restaurant at gunpoint and stole their wallets.

    The robbers also reportedly stole money from the cash register.

    The robbers reportedly took about $1,485.

    Carlsbad Police say that one of the robbers is a Hispanic man who wearing a white shirt, a dark cloth over his face and dark colored gloves.

    The robber reportedly had a small black 9 mm caliber pistol with a silver barrel.

    The second robber is only described as a white man.
