MIDLAND -- Construction on a railroad spur is shutting down Industrial Avenue in Midland.

The road is closed between South County Road 1250 and Trade Drive, although access to businesses along the closed stretch of road will remain open.

Esatbound traffic on Industrial Avenue will detour onto South County Road 1250, while westbound traffic will detour onto Business 20 of the north Interstate 20 service road.
