MIDLAND -- "Will There be Purses in Heaven?" event coming up at Crestview Baptist Church. A place for women to come and fellowship with old and new friends. The event will include food, fun, and fellowship. Tickets are $20 apiece and may be purchased at the church office during the week or on Crestview's website. There will be a silent auction of new donated handbags from individuals and local business. Proceeds will go to an outreach program in Moldova to help them with a women's retreat for their women. Alta Lynn Gerloch, the church pastor's wife, will be the speaker and will answer the question about purses in heaven. Also, there will be special music led by Carla Smith from TrueLite Fellowship here in Midland.
