New Apartment Complex Celebrates Groundbreaking

MIDLAND -- Construction will soon be underway for a new apartment complex in Midland.
Thursday afternoon Sunrise at Fairgrounds Apartments broke ground.
The new apartment complex will feature traditional 2-bedroom/2 bath and 3 bedroom/2 bath apartments on the 5 acre site.
Managers say 54 units will be built in the first phase of construction. Those apartments are slated to be available for lease starting November of this year.
Then managers say they plan to move on to phase two of the project and build another 54 units along with an amenity center.
