New Era For Hounds

Manager Darren Bush took the RockHounds to two straight Texas League championship appearances, and brought home one title trophy. He won't do that again, at least not for Midland.
Bush, alongisde pitching coach Scott Emerson, have been promoted within the Oakland A's system and will be making their way to Stockton to keep the same positions with the triple A affiliate.
Hounds hitting coach Webster Garrison will become the manager for single A affiliate Stockton, because Stockton's former manager is now with the RockHounds.
Steve Scarsone has been named the Hounds new manager and will be joined by Don Schulze as the pitching coach and Tim Garland as the hitting coach. Scarsone is in his second season with the A's organization. He led the Stockton Ports to a California League second half title this past season.
