PERMIAN BASIN - The Odessa Bronchos were looking for their first district win of the season and got it tonight after holding on to beat Abilene High 5-4.

The Permian Panthers, coming off a loss to Midland put up quite a fight at Abilene Cooper. Unfortunately couldn't pull this one out, they lose in 8 innings to 12-11. They are now 0-2 in district play.

And the Bulldogs from Midland hold on to beat San Angelo Central 10-9. Midland improves to 2-0 in district play with a big game coming up on tuesday when they take on Lee.
