Midland Christian Wins State Championship in Baseball

BELTON -- The Midland Christian Baseball team defeated Fort Worth Christian 1-0 to win the TAPPS 4A State Championship. The Mustangs defeated Austin Hyde Park 6-3 to reach the championship game.

This is the first time in school history that Midland Christian won state championships in baseball, football, boys track and girls golf.

MCS also won the Henderson Cup for 4A which is awarded based on overall athletics, fine arts, music and more. It's the first time since 2003 that the school has won this award.
