Not a lot will change when it comes to the playbook, but what is different from last year is Grady's experience. The wildcats return five starters on offense and four on defense.
That was not a luxury last season, as a young Grady team finished with a disappointing 3-7 record. But this year, Kuykendall believes his team will have an advantage.
"We had the athletes to do it last year, just no confidence, and that is due to the inexperience," Kuykendall said. "We have more experience this year. I think that experience and the six seniors returning, there's a lot of leadership out there. We'll be able to be a little more productive than we were last season."
Grady opens the season against Ropes.
