ODESSA -- Friday night was bad from the get go for the Odessa Bronchos.

Amarillo scored touchdowns on its first five drives of the game, and the Sandies did not punt once. That performance helped Amarillo cruse to the 56-15 win.

The Bronchos visit Lubbock Monterey on Thursday, so that means they have a short week to pick up the pieces.

"We realize we still have room for improvement," King said. "The only thing I know is to keep your nose to the grindstone and keep working and keep plugging away and continue to get better every week."
