Gun Show Brings in Big Bucks and Big Crowds

Midland, Texas -- On Saturday, October 27, and Sunday, October 28, the Silver Spur Gun and Blade Trade Show will take place at the Midland County Horseshoe, 2514 Arena Trail. With more than 450 tables, this is the largest gun show in west Texas.  The show will feature new, used, and collectible guns, gun parts, gun holsters, bags, clips, grips, ammunition, reloading equipment & supplies, military, coins, jewelry, items for children and the entire family.  Western art and collectibles, display boxes, books--the unexpected and unusual--can all be found at this show.
 
"The hospitality of Midland is excellent," said trade show organizer Kim Sansom. "We love working with the staff at the Chamber, CVB and the facility. Our vendors enjoy the food and people in Midland."

The trade show will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $5 for adults and free for children under the age of 12. For the first hour each day there will be a special two for the price of one admission. Active military and National Rifle Association members receive a $1 admission discount with ID.


The above information has been provided by Silver Spur Trade Shows and distributed by the Midland Convention & Visitors Bureau. This event is projected to bring in $66,000 in direct visitor spending to the Midland economy.
