Loughner Sentenced to Life in Prison

The man who killed six and injured 13 in the Tucson shooting rampage has been sentenced to life in prison without parole.

A judge in Tucson, Arizona gave Jared Loughner seven consecutive life terms plus 140 years.

Loughner pleaded guilty to 19 charges to avoid the death penalty in exchange for life in prison.

Loughner's attack in January of 2011 seriously injured Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, killed six people and injured 12 others.
