1 Killed In Glasscock County Truck Crash

GLASSCOCK COUNTY -- One person is killed in a truck crash in Glasscock County.

    The fatal accident happened around 9:30 AM Saturday near the intersection of TX 158 and TX 137 in western Glasscock County.

    Glasscock County volunteer firefighters tell Big 2 that a truck was trying to pass another truck in the area when one of the trucks flipped over for some reason.

    The driver of the truck that rolled over was thrown from their vehicle in the crash.

    The person who was thrown from the truck was later pronounced dead.
   
    As of Saturday evening, the driver's name has not yet been released.

    Texas Department of Public Safety troopers and a medical helicopter were called to the scene of the crash.

    D.P.S. troopers were still investigating the crash on Saturday.
