Woman Accused Of Selling Marijuana Out Of Hobbs, NM Home

HOBBS, NM -- An accused marijuana distributor in southeast New Mexico has been arrested.

    Agents with the Lea County Drug Task Force arrested Dora Ruiz at a home on in the 500 block of East Gypsy Street in Hobbs, NM on November 28th.

    Officials say that Ruiz, 45, was selling marijuana out of the home.

    Undercover agents with the Lea County Drug Task Force reportedly bought marijuana from Ruiz at the home multiple times in October and November 2012.

    Now, Ruiz is charged with 4 counts of felony distribution of marijuana.

    As of Thursday, Ruiz was being held in the Lea County Detention Center on $15,000 bond.
