MARLIN -- Authorities have identified the Ector County inmate accused of causing a bomb scare at a Central Texas school earlier this week.

Marlin Police tell Big 2 that Willie Earl Solomon II has been charged in connection with in the bomb hoax.

Solomon, 18, allegedly called in a bomb threat at Marlin Elementary School on December 10th.

The threat led to an evacuation of the school, although no bomb was ultimately found.

Marlin Police say that they matched Solomon's voice and inmate pin from the phone calls with surveillance footage to charge him with the threats.

The Waco teen -- and recent Odessa resident -- has been held in the Ector County Law Enforcement Center for several months after his alleged involvement in an October Odessa shooting.

Odessa Police say Solomon, 18, shot Curtis Johnson in the back at the M.C.M. Elegante parking lot on October 7th.

Johnson, 18, underwent surgery at Medical Center Hospital after the shooting.

Meanwhile, police say they found Solomon after the shooting, who used the fake name "Wilford Sanders" to identify himself.

Solomon -- who's from Waco but had been living in Odessa before the shooting -- also reportedly gave police a fake birth date.

Solomon reportedly told officers that he got in an argument with Johnson in the parking lot and threatened to shoot him.

However, Solomon allegedly maintained that he didn't intend to fire the gun.

Instead, Solomon reportedly said went off accidentally while he was holding it.

Meanwhile, police say the weapon used in the shooting was reported as stolen out of Wichita Falls.

The weapon has since been recovered.

Now, Solomon is charged with 2 counts of terroristic threats and one count each of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, giving false identification as a fugitive and a parole violation.

As of Wednesday, Solomon was being held in the Ector County Law Enforcement Center on $114,500 bond.
