Warmer Tomorrow, But A Cold Night For The Holiday Celebration 12-30-2012

New Year's Eve:

Highs tomorrow will be near 60 degrees across the Permian Basin.

Overcast conditions will give way to partly cloudy skies tomorrow.

By midnight, expect temperatures to be into the lower 30's across the area.

It will be dry, but clouds will be present tomorrow night.

Winds will be strong out of the west throughout the day tomorrow with sustained speeds of 20-30 mph and gusts around 40.

New Year's Day:

It will be colder with highs in the 40's.

Clouds should move out, after some chances for snow Tuesday morning, it should be a clear day.

Rest of the Week:

Temperatures stay in the 40's with mostly clear conditions until Friday.

Lows will be below freezing every night so bring in plants and pets and leave a bit of water running through the pipes to avoid freezing.

The weekend will be warmer with highs in the 50's and 60's Saturday and Sunday.
