MIDLAND -- A couple and their dog are safe after their RV caught fire Sunday afternoon at the Midland RV Park.

Officials responded to the scene at 4:25 p.m. When they got there they found the RV fully engulfed in flames. The RV owners told officials they were out when the returned home to find smoke. They then called emergency crews.

Midland Fire Captain Try Orozco was one of the responding firefighters. He said, "It's pretty much fully engulfed as you can see. Pretty much a total loss on the motor home."

The family said they do have somewhere to stay for the night, right now there is no clear cause for the blaze however it may have started from a running engine.
