CRANE COUNTY -- Road repairs could soon lead to some major slowdowns at a Crane County intersection.

TXDOT workers will be sealing cracks and repairing pavement along TX 329 near where the road meets with F.M. 1053 in southwest Crane County between February 4th and February 6th.

Workers will have to close lanes as they repair the roadway.

There will be flag crews and warning signs in the area of the work zones in order to direct traffic.

There will also be loose rocks on the road for a short time as crews repair the pavement.

Work on the project will only take place during the day.

Drivers should avoid the area if possible.

TXDOT says that crack sealing work will improve the surface of the road and prolong the life of the road.
