ODESSA -- Three Odessans are accused of stealing beer from a store and attacking an employee.

Jose Henry Lopez Jr., Ernesto Pena Jr., and Isaiah Estrella were arrested around 2:30 AM Tuesday.

Odessa Police say that Lopez, 20, Pena, 24, and Estrella, 18, stole beer from a Stripes convenience store on West 16th Street around 1:30 AM Tuesday.

Lopez, Pena and Estrella reportedly pushed the store clerk several times as they tried to leave the stripes with the beer.

However, the clerk was able to find out what vehicle the robbers were driving, along with the vehicle's license plate.

Police tracked down the vehicle in the 1500 block of Palomar Lane moments later.

Officers then arrested Lopez, Pena and Estrella -- all of whom were allegedly in the vehicle.

Now, Lopez, Pena and Estrella are all charged with felony robbery.

Lopez is also charged with assault, while Pena is charged with driving without proof of insurance and driving with a suspended license.

As of Tuesday evening, Lopez, Pena and Estrella were being held in the Ector County Law Enforcement Center on $50,000 bond apiece.
