DALLAS -- RoRo's Baking Company is a family owned and operated Dallas-based company, specializing in delicious handmade cinnamon rolls and crescent style dinner rolls. Their Grandmother, better known as "RoRo", began baking her prized family recipe many years ago in her kitchen and selling them around the community. People went crazy over them! Like we mean...REALLY CRAZY! So we figured, why not share the love with everyone! Our mission is to bring back those memories of Grandma's hot, yummy rolls to your busy life. Take a minute, enjoy the sweet things in life, and bring a little bit of RoRo into your kitchen!

RoRo's Baking Company has turned to Kickstarter as a platform to raise funds for the renovation of their new facility.  As a reward for supporting this project, RoRo's is sending their specialty products right to your doorstep.  BUT ... here is the cool part ... RoRo's has created a special reward option for those who want to give back.  For only $10, RoRo's will send one pan of Cinnamon Rolls to our troops in Afghanistan to bring them a yummy taste of home.  RoRo's has just received confirmation that these rolls will be delivered via a DIRECT military aircraft to our troops, ensuring that they will arrive fresh and delicious.

The catch is this ... Kickstarter is all or nothing ... RoRo's Campaign has until February 28th to raise their $35,000 goal.  If the funding is not met, then the rewards cannot be fulfilled.
The mission:  If 3,500 people can come together and collectively offer their support, then the project will be funded, and the cinnamon rolls will be loaded on a military jet and delivered straight to our troops this May!  It is a steep undertaking, but RoRo's has spent weeks developing the campaign, working on logistics, and will now be documenting the experience for everyone to follow along.

What is Kickstarter?

Kickstarter, is an online crowd funding platform featured on CNN, The New York Times, and Time magazine that allows young companies and start-ups to simultaneously build capital and reward their "backers" that fund the project.  Kickstarter is full of ambitious, innovative, and imaginative projects that are brought to life through the direct support of others.  If customers like the project, they can pledge money to make it happen. If the project succeeds in reaching its funding goal, all backers' credit cards are charged when time expires. If the project falls short, no one is charged.  The concept of "All or Nothing" plays a significant role in why the campaigns can become so successful.  It creates a strong sense of urgency and excitement to collectively come together and be on the precipice of something great.
