ODESSA -- Ector County Sheriff's deputies have identified the victim of a recent West Odessa shooting.

Deputies say that someone shot Tommy Johnson, Sr. in the neck area with an AK-47 around 1 PM on February 11th in the 1800 block of Neptune Avenue.

Johnson, 42, was rushed to Medical Center Hospital with serious injuries after the incident.

At last check, deputies say that Johnson was listed in critical condition at M.C.H.

Deputies believe an ongoing family dispute might have led to the shooting.

As of Wednesday, no one had been arrested for the incident, and deputies hadn't named any persons of interest.

The investigation into the shooting continued Wednesday.
