One Woman Injured In I-20 Rollover, Crash

MIDLAND--A two vehicle accident in Midland closed down parts of Interstate 20 near mile marker 131.

DPS troopers responded to the scene around 1:30 Saturday afternoon. Officials said a man driving a green Volvo was headed west on interstate 20 at a high speed when her veered off the avoid hitting the car in front. Instead of straightening out, the green car spun out crossing the median and coming to a stop in the east bound lanes.

A silver truck heading east hit the Volvo, sending it rolling over into the embankment near the service road. Officials said the truck flipped four times before landing upright. The female driver of the truck was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the car had minor injuries to his arm.

He was also ticketed for failure to control speed.
