CARLSBAD, NM -- A Carlsbad, NM man is accused of a drive-by shooting.

Carlsbad (NM) Police say that Gabriel Rodriguez shot at Albert Galindo as he drove by Galindo's vehicle in a white Chevrolet Suburban along Kircher Street on March 9th.

Galindo, 45, reportedly followed the Suburban and called police.

Officers pulled over the Suburban along Wood Street moments later.

The driver of the vehicle -- Gabriel Rodriguez -- was immediately arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Officers also reportedly found a firearm inside the Suburban.

Officers later got a search warrant of the Suburban, and they reportedly found suspected narcotics in the vehicle.

The supposed drugs were turned over to the Pecos Valley (NM) Drug Task Force.

Meanwhile, Rodriguez, 28, was charged with aggravated assault for the incident.
